Constructed with an alder body, maple neck, and thick slab rosewood fretboard, this uncommon original Visa Series Musicmaster Bass weighs only 7lbs 14oz and has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar.The neck has amedium C profile carve with full shoulders in every register and lightly rolled edges, measuring. Very comfortable to play with its short 30' scale, this Musicmaster is strung with flatwound 45-100 strings and delivers a surprising amount of richness, with a smooth, yet present note attack and a bit of growl when you dig in.

The most popular of the Visa Series colors, the gloss Sonic Blue finish has great saturation and a slightly aged clear coat that pushes the color towards Surf Green, accented by a matching headstock for a classic '60s look.
